The upcoming game from Arc System Works, 4v4 tag fighter Marvel TÅkon: Fighting Souls, will be playable this summer during EVO 2025 in Las Vegas. This will be the first time that the public will be able to get a hands-on look at the next fighting title from the studio behind Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear since the game was announced during Sony’s State of Play event in June. The build that will be showcased at EVO will allow players to create a team of four from six characters that will be featured in the game: Captain America, Iron…
My Friendly Neighborhood has its fair share of secrets to find and discover, and none are more so than the undertaking of gaining access to Stage 5 late in the game. A secret area, completion of this area’s puzzle rewards players with something well worth the time and effort to do so. This guide will help you both with the setup to accomplish this feat. Beware of spoilers. Gaining access to Stage 5 actually begins once the player gains access to the Public Park area. After making your way through here, Gordon will end up in a greenhouse with a…
Wandering through the many areas surrounding My Friendly Neighborhood, you are sure to have seen several doors marked with a diamond design, either through paint or a tiny symbol. Surely by this point, you have wondered when you will be able to access these rooms, and it will take a while for you to reach the point where you can actually gain access to these areas and collect the goodies within, and we are here to help. Beware, light spoilers for My Friendly Neighborhood below. Now, time to get that diamond key. You will not encounter the diamond key until…
While not a point of pride, one thing I have been pleased about has been my ability to avoid getting sucked into the mascot horror genre up to now. Thinking back, there was maybe one Five Nights at Freddy’s Game I played within the last few years, but other than that, only the first game in that series, way back before the sub-genre it spawned had a name. As such, I never really saw the appeal of these games, and that isn’t intended as an attack or a criticism, but more a genuine question. Is it the characters that take…
The creator of both the Silent Hill series and the 2024 new IP Slitterhead, Keiichiro Toyama, has announced he is working on his next game. While speaking with Japanese publication Famitsu during an exhibition for concept art forĀ Slitterhead, a range of topics were discussed, including the reception of his latest game and his new project. While Toyama reinforced that his new studio, founded to develop his 2024 game that saw a mixed reception at launch, wasn’t concerned with making a commercial game, but did acknowledge that the game performed below expectations. He also addressed some confusion over whether the game…
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the next entry in Sega’s spin-off racing series of their flagship mascot, will release with the “full base game” featured on a 64GB physical cartridge when it releases on the Nintendo Switch 2. This is opposed to being a Game-Key card, which features access to a key on the cartridge, allowing players to download the full game through internet access onto the system. Game-Key cards are labeled along the bottom of the case with a white strip that states the game is accessed through this message, with the cartridges themselves marked with a key symbol in the…
People who know me know that I have an unhealthy obsession with Roguelikes, Anything where I can die over and over again, making a little more progress with each run is something I’m into, which is weird since I was never much of a Soulslike player. Those same people would also know that I love fighting games, even owning about six fight pads/sticks, though I have only ever been good at one or two actual games, at least enough to care about frame data. One of those games was the BlazBlue series, which fell between being better than mid-tier players…
Square Enix, publisher of the Dragon Quest series of RPGs, is suggested to relaunch more classic Dragon Quest titles than those that are already known, starting with Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. This news is according to the website MP1st, which received leaked documents from the company that showcased a number of unannounced projects in development, including the remake of the seventh mainline title. What is interesting about this is that while other games have been specifically marked as being HD Remakes, VII is not listed as such. This could suggest that the title might be more…
Astro Bot has received a new update, which adds five new challenge levels for players to conquer, along with new special bots that pay homage to the history of PlayStation for players to add to their already large roster of characters. In particular, two of these newly added characters should help fill a massively glaring gap in representation for a specific franchise that many fans noted was oddly absent from the game at launch. If you are looking to learn the identities of these characters on your own, more power to you; these characters can be unlocked on the stage…
Stalker 2, which launched for Xbox Series and PC, has been announced for PlayStation 5 later this year. This was announced by developer GSC Game World, along with a trailer for the upcoming PlayStation 5 release, which is just listed as late 2025 currently. While the trailer doesn’t show much, GSC has confirmed the title will take full advantage of the DualSense controller with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. In addition, PS5 Pro enhancements are in development, though if this means they will release later or are being worked on for release has not been stated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSl8qMOIinA Stalker 2: Heart…
