First-party PlayStation developer Sony Santa Monica has announced that they will be delaying the release of God of War Laufey by around three months. The official reason for this delay, according to a statement released by the studio via social media, is that the game requires additional work before it will be ready for release. Nintendo and developers Game Freak and Omega Force have announced that the second expansion for the life sim Pokémon Pokopia, entitled Dazzling Decorations, will arrive on December 9. This expansion follows Bubbly Basin, which dropped in August, as part of the paid post-launch DLC being added to the title. While we are only a few months away from Persona 4 Revival, a remake of Persona 4 Golden, it appears another remake might be on the way. A trailer showcasing a mix of gameplay footage, dialogue, and cutscenes for a remake of the original Persona has been released on YouTube via a new account. Japan’s Official Gazette Kanpo has confirmed, via its list of the company’s dissolution, that developer Nigoshi Studio has closed. The studio was founded back in 2021 by Yakuza/Like A Dragon creator Toshihiro Nagoshi following his departure from SEGA and RGG Studios that same year, with backing from Chinese publisher NetEase to found the new studio. Developer FromSoftware has announced that The Duskbloods, their Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive PvPvE title, has been delayed until 2027.
