Star Fox is getting an impressive-looking remake for the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo announced via a shadow-dropped Nintendo Direct event. Simply titled Star Fox, the game is a remake of the popular Star Fox 64 (known in some regions as Lylat Wars) that served as many a fan’s entry into the series back in 1997 on the Nintendo 64 system. This news, while definitely coming out of nowhere, has been building up with the character making an appearance in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and a major leak at Nintendo pointing to the first new game starring the titular Fox…

Based on the description, the Fall From Grace trophy sounds fairly easy to acquire. It’s not that this is incorrect, but the set of requirements that need to be met to make this trophy pop can be annoying. The first of these is that the description requires you to kill an enemy using the environment, and while there are things like explosive cocoons and corrosive lakes that seem like they might be part of this, the name actually gives it away. The only way to use the environment is to cause an enemy to fall to their death. Again, this…

Saros is an experience that is hard to explain. Wrapped in bizarre moments of abstract horror, in between a narrative that could require a compass to navigate, it can be challenging to wrap your brain around it. Pulsating orbs of death with fast-paced death and decimation almost make you forget that the narrative isn’t heavy, wrapped and looped into a repetitive banquet of tawdry excess. Who among us doesn’t love a little excess, though? In the introduction, we join Arjun Devraj, who awakens already stuck in the loop of the planet Carcosa. A loop brought about by a visually striking…
Nintendo is reportedly facing continued pressure to raise the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 console amid rising manufacturing costs and declining share prices. The company, looking forward to its next financial earnings report set to release on Friday, Nintendo is facing scrutiny from shareholders over whether they will finally be made to buckle on the Switch 2’s pricing, which has remained firm since last year’s release.…

For starters, this is the first big batch of games coming to the service following the appointment of the new head of Xbox, Asha Sharma, who chose to remove Call of Duty from the service as a day-one title, effectively lowering the service’s cost from $29.99 to $22.99. The tail end of this period will also see the release of the Xbox first-party title Forza Horizon 6 on May 19 for both Xbox and…
