It is always a nerve-wracking experience to review a game you can sink hundreds of hours into. When you get a review code, you barely have enough time to play the experience, and you need to measure what components out of hundreds will matter. Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the epitome of that experience. In over 100 hours, I have beat up crooks, helped revive a resort, been a stunt actor, made plenty of friends, chased a mystery, been a delivery driver, become a human traf– I mean Sujimon trainer, and that isn’t even scratching the surface. Even now…

Another Code, or Trace Memory as it was known in the West, was a game I sadly missed when it was first released for the DS. It’s a bummer looking back at it since the title shares many elements with my favorite DS title 999: 9 Persons, 9 Hours, 9 Doors. That being said, even at a glance the room escape aspects never reach that height. But if one was inclined to look back at the two titles on DS and Wii you will find that this is a pretty loving recreation of a more obscure puzzle-solving game and even…

Larian Studios’ mega RPG Baldur’s Gate III is finally available on every platform now that the title Stealth was released during The Video Game Awards in December. This is great news for all games as the title dominated the conversation of games in the latter half of 2023, as well as bagging a large number of game of the year awards. 2023 was a great year overall, with Baldur’s Gate III leading the way, but another conversation about subscription services like PlayStation Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass has been playing out on both fronts. During the FTC V. Microsoft…

That being said, as a Tennis fan, just the claim of the game is enough to get me excited. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RGxSiweoJA The game is being developed by Hanger 13, best known…

In 2023, Remedy unveiled their new trademark, a large letter R that has a rippling effect to it which they stated reflected a “New and Refined look,” for the studio. This has not sat well with Take-Two, owner of the extremely popular Rockstar Games, who are disputing this new logo over similarities to the logo of the Grand Theft Auto developer. This filing was made in the UK and EU, because of the “likelihood of confusion,” said the publisher. Remedy had filed with EU’s Intellectual Property office on April 13, 2023, which was one day before their public announcement. They…

We are only a few weeks into 2024 and already there are a lot of games to look forward to. One of the early releases this year, and one of the most anticipated is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake. A retelling of the Final Fantasy 7 story across multiple parts, players can expect to leave the city of Midgar and begin to explore many of the locations present when the original title introduced us to its world map (which makes a return). In anticipation of the title’s impending release next month, Square Enix has…
