Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch on October 2nd, 2025. Nintendo announced their arrival on September 12th, 2025, during Nintendo Direct. Celebrating Mario’s 40th anniversary, they decided to release quite a few games and merchandise. Announced at Nintendo Direct on September 12th, 2025, Nintendo announced The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. This announcement comes from one of many others for Mario’s 40th anniversary. On September 2nd, 2025, the USPTO granted Nintendo U.S. Patent No. 12,403,397. The patent covers the summoning and battling of side characters, a mechanic already used in various titles.
