Catto’s Post Office, the mail delivery game we described as “a low-stakes, cozy adventure that is wholesome in its entirety”, is making its way to Nintendo Switch November 2nd. First released on Steam back in early August, the game’s charming artstyle quickly earned a following by playing as the titular Catto. A fitting choice to be ported next to one of the most sold family friendly systems, delivering mail in a peaceful coast town looks like a perfect time while laying down after a stressful day.
Published by CULT Games and developed by In Shambles Studio, Catto’s Post Office premise is simple but effective. Working as the town’s dedicated Postcat, the goal is to deliver packages to each of the kitty residents and have a successful day at work with no mishaps. With an underlying cozy narrative cooking in the background, sharing peculiar conversations with each of the townsfolk is equally calming and rewarding. Along the way, actions such as kicking a ball, breaking plant pots, and meowing on demand will keep you busy.

With a brief runtime of one whole hour and a very accessible price to go along with it, Catto’s Post Office does not aspire to be any more than it is: a cute distraction to play while winding down. Running up and down the brightly colored town while hearing each of the character’s trivial gripes is a great way to relax. Learning about hidden secrets and collectibles entices to explore every corner of the seaside villa in hopes of finding everything it has to offer. Cat lovers especially will find amusing little details about their behavior that will at the very least draw a smile.
Catto’s Post Office is now available on Steam, and will release on Nintendo Switch on December 2nd.
