Date Everything, the quirky upcoming romance game where you indeed do date everything, even the things that are nailed down, has been delayed from its planned release date of February 14th to June. This delay was announced as part of a statement from developer Sassy Chap Games as they are hard at work finishing the title.
In a statement from the Lead Designer on the project Ray Chase, he stated:
I was too confident that we could properly test ALL the wild amount of content and pathing that exists in this massive game, and unfortunately we ran out of time on our current(and yet so appropriate release date) of February 14th, 2025.
This means the game will be skipping its intended release in February and will now be released sometime in June, though no official release day was given. In this same statement, Chase did say that the game was overall finished with development as they had “reached the point where the game is complete to a standard we feel reach our goals,” putting much of this delay of QA testing and debugging.
Originally announced last year, the game revolves around the player character receiving a magical pair of sunglasses that turns everything they see around their house into attractive men and women the play can then proceed to woo and date. Objects showcased to have personas include a vacuum machine, a hat, and a baby grand piano just to name a few. Based on their statement it sounds like the dating sim is really aiming to deliver on the promise of its name.
It will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC when it eventually does release, allowing you not only the ability to date everything but date everywhere as well.
