Originally developed by a single person, Bing Yang, the Chinese-developed game now has a full studio named Ultizero Games behind it. During its development there have been a few trailers released however each has seen multiple-year gaps in information as the game continued to evolve and develop. This trend had become less common however over the last few years as China started to become a bigger player in the AAA development scene, rather than just live-service and mobile titles, with games like Black Myth: Wukong helping to open up the space considerably.
