Geoff Keighley has spoken about seven of the games set to be showcased during Opening Night Live, which is set to premiere next Tuesday. This includes Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which was announced over the summer during the Xbox Showcase, as well as other Microsoft Owned titles, The Outer Worlds 2, and World of Warcraft: Midnight, as well as Xbox-published titles, Ninja Gaiden 4.
Sony will also be present during Opening Night Live with their upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive, Ghost of Yotei, as well as Konami showcasing more of Silent Hill f, which is set to release in October of this year. Capcom will also be showcasing its next entry in the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil: Requiem, which got a teaser during the Summer Games Fest event in the summer, and is set to release early next year.
Not only were games announced to appear during the event, with a trailer for Season 2 of the Fallout TV series is set to be shown as well. A musical performance for Game of the Year contender Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 will also be part of the event.
Several other games are slated to make an appearance at ONL or Gamescom, confirmed by developers rather than Geoff Keighley, with a developer tweet confirming Lords of the Fallen 2 will be present. In some capacity, Black Myth Wukong will be present at the event. Having been released on Xbox recently, most likely this will be to announce DLC, which they had confirmed they were working on. Long-awaited title Hollowknight: Silksong has been confirmed to be playable during Gamescom, though no confirmation has been given as to whether it will get some showcase during ONL, though the development team has stated it is planned for release between Gamescom and the holidays.
Opening Night Live will begin on Tuesday 8pm CEST / 7pm BST / 2pm ET / 11am PT and we viewable on Twitch and YouTube.
