Towa and the Guardians of The Sacred Tree – How To Unlock And Take On Town Requests, Unlocking The I’ve Got This! Trophy/Achievement

*This Guide contains light spoilers for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree

One of the things that can be slightly obnoxious about Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is how they allow players to gain access to side content, such as the town request feature. This feature acts similarly to that of a side quest mechanic, allowing for some new quests to be taken on for valuable rewards like ore, as well as a few repeatable quests that offer small but valuable rewards that are always on the ready, but do require beating predominantly mini bosses, so set aside at least some time to undertake them.

Once you complete the third journey in the game, which can be a little challenging as you need to survive 5 biomes, the last with a boss that can take a lot of punishment, the game undergoes a massive shift. In particular, while up to this point you were only allowed to traverse one level at a time in Mayoiga, you now have access to multiple levels to select, and the new realm of Tokogawa, where the village hub area is, to fight monsters in as well. Once the game resets itself and you have full control, head to the village center and speak with Saikaki, the village teacher, to unlock the village school function. Here you can take and report Village quests.

After taking on one of these quests, they will appear in the new Journey map that features multiple options for the player to choose from. They will be specifically marked with the words Village Request and can be taken in the Tokogawa section. Specifically, these quests ask you to play the game as you have been, by traveling through multi-stage biomes that end in a specific boss fight. These requests specifically note they want you to kill the boss of the biome, with completion being completely locked behind that. Slaying that both outside of the Village Request biome also will not count. Upon completion, you can travel back to the village school to get your reward.

Upon completion of your first village request, regardless of which it is, you will receive the I’ve Got This! trophy/Achievement, which only requires you to complete a single one. While this is the only trophy or achievement specifically tied to the village requests, by this point, the main missions can be 4 or 5 biomes and get pretty hard, especially if you are struggling with a specific character. These missions are a great way to unlock the trophy/achievements for individual characters, with each of the Guardians and Towa having one for completing a journey as the Tsurugi. These tasks are often short with less challenging bosses and each will still count as a journey upon completion.
