A new Warhammer 40k game, entitled Warhammer Survivors, has been announced from the studio behind the Boltgun subseries of the franchise, Auroch Digital. The game is a play on the extremely popular Vampire Survivors roguelike series, with the developer behind that franchise, Poncle, collaborating with the studio in a partnership. Set to release next year, Warhammer Survivors looks to bring a more indie take to the series while still retaining the violent bullet bullet-laden goodness the series is known for
According to the game’s official press release, the game is an official part of the Survivors lineage, but a standalone entry. It will feature several settings across both Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes, with a roster of iconic characters that players can choose from to survive the onslaught of enemies. These characters include the protagonist from Boltgun, Malum Caedo, as well as Neave Blacktalon from Age of Sigmar. Also included in the press release is a list of features players can expect, which you can see below:

It is currently available to wishlist on Steam. Vampire Survivors continues to be popular, initially released in 2021.
