Microsoft has announced that an Xbox Partner Preview showcase will be held on Thursday of this week. The event is set to house several updates on already announced projects, but also promises “new reveals.” The Partner Preview, as the name implies, will focus on third-party developers with games currently coming to the Xbox platform and Game Pass, so it wouldn’t behoove fans to hope for updates to titles like Clockwork Revolution or Gears of War: E Day, titles being developed under the Xbox Game Studios banner.
There have been a few announcements as to what we can expect during the event. Sega recently launched an official Twitter page for the upcoming Ryo Ga Gotoku Studio title Stranger Than Heaven, which will be shown in some capacity during the event. Other games that will be shown include The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, which is a Mass Effect-style game from Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader developer Owlcat Games, along with an update to Stalker 2 from GSC Game World. Overall, the event will run around 30 minutes, Microsoft has stated.
Microsoft additionally released a statement discussing potential new reveals planned for the event. In it, the company stated:
As always, Xbox Partner Preview is totally focused on sharing exciting game news from our talented partners across the world. During Xbox Partner Preview, you’ll get multiple world premieres, first looks at gameplay, and updates on other great titles coming to Xbox, including some that will be available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on day one.
This Xbox Partner Preview showcase comes shortly after Microsoft’s Game Developer Keynote event during GDC 2026. There, the company further discussed Project Helix, its next-generation console, which is set to allow users to play PC games on the platform. Prior to this, long-running Xbox Boss Phil Spencer stepped down, being replaced by Asha Sharma, with the first major change being the discontinuation of the company’s controversial “This is an Xbox Campaign” before shifting the focus to the company’s future hardware plans.
The Xbox Partner Preview will be held on Thursday, March 26, at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ and 5 PM UK.
