Date Everything!, The sandbox dating sim where you- you guessed it- can date everything, finally has a new release date. Previously, it was slated for release on Valentine’s Day for obvious reasons, but it was delayed so that the developers could have extra time to polish it. We will now see the game release on June 17th, which might not be as romantic a day as originally planned but should still be a fun day all the same.
In the game, players take the role of a person who ends up with a magical pair of glasses that, when worn, sees everything in her house turn into a datable person. These characters can range from a vacuum cleaner to a bathtub, all with their own narratives to explore as you explore your romantic connections to these characters. With over 100 datable characters, there is sure to be somebody that can strike the players’ fancy, with the freedom to explore the house and these characters at your pleasure.
These datable objects are also voiced by a wide range of well-known voice actors. The cast will include Final Fantasy XVI’s Ben Starr, Ghost of Yotei’s Erika Ishii, and Wolfenstein II’s Debra Wilson. Other voice actors like Laura Bailey, Ashley Johnson, Matthew Mercer, and Troy Baker will also be present. In total, 1,2 million words and 70,000 lines of dialog were recorded for this Date Everything!, which is even impressive for games outside of the Indie space.
Alongside the announcement of the game’s release date, it was also stated that a physical release for the game will be released later this year for PlayStation, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch.
Date Everything! releases digitally on June 17th, 2025 with a 2025 tentative date for its physical releases. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
