Resident Evil Requiem is the latest release in the franchise to receive plenty of bonus skins, abilities, and weapons. This is how you can access them.
The Resident Evil franchise is well known for catering to speedrunners and fans who love to replay the campaign. To entice going through the nightmarish encounters that are found in Resident Evil Requiem again, there are several new options to approach things differently. From the Lady Dimitrescu skin for Grace Ashcroft found in the Deluxe Edition to the broken Infinite Ammo perk, there are plenty of toggles to make every campaign completely yours. But where to start?
In the main menu of Resident Evil Requiem, just below the Main Story option, select Bonuses. In there, you will find various cool lore and development documents. At the top of the options, the Special Content option allows you to spend completion points from challenges to unlock said weapons, skills, and costumes. Concept art, character models, and other behind-the-scenes content once you beat the game are among the other files you can view.
What interests us is the bottom part of the options: Bonus Settings. Here is where you can change both Leon’s and Grace’s costumes, with the classic R.P.D. and FBI outfits available after unlocking them. If you bought the Deluxe Kit, skins for the all-powerful Requiem revolver and other weapons can be changed. Lastly, screen filters for a unique feel each run, and changing the BGM and old-school menu SFX can be tweaked.

And there you have it. I mostly write this guide because I finished the game and did not know how to use any of my Deluxe Edition perks. After forking out extra for it, at least I am enticed to play it one more time. And now, you will too. Resident Evil Requiem is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
