Crimson Desert features a very large open world to explore, and it is slightly selective when it comes to explaining certain mechanics to you. As such, you might spend much of your early hours wandering the big world on horseback, but this can seem to become too much once the scope becomes clear. There is, however, a way to fast-travel between locations, making it much easier to move between areas. You just need to unlock it.
If you go to the map from your menu, you will notice large areas covered in white, with a question mark at the center. These locations are referred to as Mysterious Energy. If you read the description of these locations, it will tell you that ” A mysterious energy can be sensed in this area. There might be a secret hidden here, so it’s best not to ignore it.” This doesn’t give you much to go on, but these marks at least some locations with unlockable fast travel points.

Traveling to these areas will give you a radius to search, but in most cases, what you are searching for isn’t actually hidden. You are looking for a stone platform that you can walk onto, and it should stand out, especially if you are searching, say, a grassy field. In the center is a circular area you want to walk onto. You will know you have done this right when it starts to glow blue. And this is it, you have unlocked a fast travel point.

The game does not give you a point to fast travel when you begin, but you only need one point to be able to travel to it on the map by moving to it, then hitting the teleport option. There is a minor cinematic to travel to a point. I’m not 100% if this is meant to hide a loading screen or just to create a sense of immersion, but either way, it is far shorter than traveling the world of Crimson Desert to that point manually.
