Magical Schoolgirl RPG Blue Reflection is getting a collection entitled Blue Reflection Quartet, developer Gust and publisher Koei Tecmo have announced. The collection is set to release on July 30, and will be made available on the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
In Blue Reflection, players take the role of Shirai Hinako, a new transfer student at the Hoshinomiya Girls’ High School, suffering from depression brought on by a knee injury a year prior that caused her to lose an important ballet competition. As she attends this new school and begins to make new friends, they discover a threat, known as the sephirot, that forces the lead cast to face both internal and external issues to save their school. This is accomplished by transforming and traveling to an alternate realm to face these enemies.
The collection will include four experiences in total, starting with Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection Second Light, the mainline titles of the series previously released on Consoles. In addition, it will include Blue Reflection Ray, a video game experience based on the anime, which was in turn based on the game, and Blue Reflection Sun, a recreation of the mobile game’s main story. The collection will also feature a new flowchart so relationships and events can easily be tracked across all games, and a gallery featuring artwork by famed illustrator Mel Kishida.
The developer behind the title, Gust, is perhaps best known for the Atelier JRPG series, which saw a rerelease of the Atelier Ryza trilogy of games last year. Recently, it was announced that Team Ninja would transfer part of their team to Gust, with that portion having previously helped on Atelier Resleriana.
