Last year, when I was scrolling through Netflix, I stumbled upon the most recent City Hunter film. It looked stupid as hell, but Masanobu Ando was up in there, and lord knows I haven’t seen him since he was doing Takashi Miike westerns with Quentin Tarantino and his classic crazy hair, so I figured, why not? He was killed off about 10 minutes in, which I would have remembered. If I had any recollection of the source material, Ryohei Suzuki did such a good job as Ryo Saeba that the film was actually a pleasant watch. I’m not really sure…

Sony had previously had a policy of releasing these games on PC only after a period of time had passed. This policy would see a shift back for the studio, something…

I remember there being a fervent excitement for the Scott Pilgrim movie around the tail end of my high school career. Having not read the comics, this wasn’t such a big deal to me. Unfortunately, two of the people telling me how exciting this was did the movie reviews for the school paper, and once stated The Queen was a horrible movie because it was about an old lady. Needless to say, that means nothing. I would eventually see the movie, but I remembered being too distracted by whatever happened to Michael Cera and his face to truly enjoy it,…
