After a lengthy month of speculation and rumors, it looks like Bethesda is finally set to unveil the remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, with the announcement set to be officially made tomorrow. This comes via a post made by Bethesda on X. https://twitter.com/bethesda/status/1914341006188712023 The tweet itself is pretty simple, featuring the picture of a part of the face of an imperial soldier with the Roman numeral for four right above it. In fairness, it is hard to mistake this for anything else, especially given the recent leaks of in-game screenshots of an Oblivion Remake that have been circling…
There has been a term used both with a negative and positive connotation when referring to games that focus on the core of exploring a small environment with no combat, some minimalist narrative, and specifically walking from interactable object to interactable object. That term is a Walking Sim. I understand some of the apprehension that some can feel towards playing these games, but when they hit their apex in 2012, they offered a shocking argument for video games as an artistic medium, and a radically different experience to that of the big developers at the time. This, for me, culminated…

As it turns out, Star Wars Outlaws will not be releasing alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 but will be arriving on the system on September 5th, according to Ubisoft. This shouldn’t…
