Capcom has announced a Spotlight digital event that will be held next week. Games set to be featured include currently released titles Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6, as well as upcoming titles Pragmata and newly announced Resident Evil 9: Requiem. The Capcom Spotlight Livestream is set for 3 pm PT on Thursday, June 26, and will last for 40 minutes.
Capcom stated that fans can expect the “latest news” on their upcoming games, as well as several interviews with the developers. Monster Hunter Wilds, for instance, will get new details for its Title update 2, which is scheduled to release at the end of this month. Street Fighter 6 received a new trailer during the Summer Game Fest, showcasing its Year 3 content, which is set to add Sagat, Alex, C. Viper, and Ingrid to the game’s roster. This could be a focus of Street Fighter 6′s showing, though Capcom always makes a point to highlight upcoming events such as the Capcom Pro Tour during spotlight events as well.
A new look at Capcom’s title, Pragmata, was showcased during Sony’s State of Play, finally offering us a look at some gameplay as well as a new release window of 2026, one that they claim during the trailer will be when the game releases, unlike those last two windows. Rounding out the Summer Games Fest event, Capcom announced the next mainline game in the Resident Evil Series, entitled Resident Evil: Requiem was announced with a new trailer. What we do know is that you play as Grace Ashcroft, return to Raccon City, and can play in a first or third-person perspective. Rumors have suggested the series’ mainstay Leon S. Kennedy will also be playable, as well as a potential third character, though this has yet to be confirmed.
