Nintendo held a Partner Showcase on February 5, 2026. Here is a look at everything that was announced in that around 30-minute timeframe:

Split-screen co-op title Orbitals blasts off in summer 2026.

Originally announced last year, Orbitals is a two-player co-op title that both invokes classic anime and Hazelight titles, such as It Takes Two. You and another player take the role of two young space explorers who must set off, braving dangers to save their home. The game is played with a split screen that represents both characters, with the Game Share function on Switch 2 only requiring one player to own the game for you to play with a friend. Orbitals is a Switch 2 exclusive set to release in summer 2026.

Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse Brings A New Mystery To Solve

A sequel to the 2023 Square Enix published visual novel title Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo was announced, entitled Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse. This new title brings a new setting, a small fishing community, along with a new set of characters searching for answers surrounding a centuries-old tale of mermaids. Paranormasight is set to release on February 19, 2026.

Captain Tsubasa II: World Fighters Continues the Fast-Paced Soccer Action

The Captain Tsubasa anime is getting a sequel to its 2020 video game debut. Entitled Captain Tsubasa II: World Fighters, the game boasts a roster of over 110 characters across 22 different teams. Players take part in a fast-paced version of soccer where characters have special moves and abilities that you can use to score, tackle, and dribble as players aim for victory. Captain Tsubasa II: World Fighters is currently slated for a 2026 release.

Tokyo Scramble Sneaks Its Way With An Announcement Trailer

Tokyo Scramble received an announcement trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2. Players take the role of Anne, who becomes trapped in an underground Tokyo and must avoid dinosaur-like creatures known as Zino. Unable to fight there directly, players will need to guide Anne past them using stealth or use her environment to set traps for them. The game will also feature game sharing, where up to four players can share controls. Tokyo Scramble launches on February 11, 2026.

Valheim Is Set To Build a Settlement On The Nintendo Switch 2

Popular Viking survival crafting game Valheim was announced to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. Players create their characters in a massive land, gather materials, build homes, and hunt, all in a bid to survive. Up to 10 players online can join you on your journey as you explore the world and fight its many dangers. Valheim will set sail sometime in 2026.

Hollow Knight: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Gets a Stealth Release Later Today

Originally announced by Team Cherry in December of last year, the original Hollow Knight is getting an upgraded version for the Nintendo Switch 2 console. This upgraded version will boast enhanced visuals and improved framerates. Arguably, the best part is that players who already own Hollow Knight on the Nintendo Switch will have access to this upgraded version free of charge. Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available later today.

eFootball Kick-Off! Dribbles Its Way To The Nintendo Switch 2

Konami’s eFootball series, formerly known as P.E.S. in the West, is dribbling its way onto the Nintendo Switch 2 with eFootball: Kick-off. It is unclear just how this game will relate to the current free-to-play eFootball available on other consoles, but this title will be in some way part of that same ecosystem. The title will feature both local and online multiplayer. eFootball Kick Off! will arrive on Switch 2 in the summer of 2026.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Gets A Release Date Just In Time

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the next Square Enix title to boast the retro 2.5D aesthetic popularized with Octopath Traveler, received a new trailer during the event. Previously, it was showcased last year and received a demo alongside that announcement. Elliot will need to travel through several periods of history in this action RPG, with each reflected in the changes they bring to his hometown and the world around him. The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will release on June 18, 2026.

Super Bomberman Collection Will Be Blowing Things Up Later Today

In addition to eFootball, Konami also announced the Super Bomberman Collection, which includes 5 classic titles from the titular character that originally released on the SNES. Three of the titles included in this collection, Super Bomberman 3-5, have previously not been released in America, with 4-5 having not been released in Europe as well. In addition to all this bomb goodness, a new boss rush mode will also be included, along with a game share mode. Super Bomberman Collection will be available on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 later today, with a physical version coming in August.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Will Slash Its Way onto Nintendo Switch 2 Later This Year

Hot on the heels of the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake last week, the sequel, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, was showcased for the Nintendo Switch 2. The title features the main cast escaping from Midgar into an open world, where they explore and fight their way across it. A new boost mode will be coming to the game to make combat easier for players looking solely to enjoy the story. Mixed in with this adventure are multiple minigames, such as bike combat and the new Queen’s Blood card game. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to release on June 3, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2.

Pragmata Hacks Its Way Onto Nintendo Switch 2 Day One

Capcom’s upcoming new IP, Pragmata, appears to be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 alongside other platforms when the title releases. In it, you play as Hugh Williams, joined by a childlike android, or Pragmata, named Diana. The two are pursued through an abandoned Lunar station by robots that are too tough to kill normally and require Diana to hack them so that Hugh can shoot their weak spots. Pragmata is set to release on April 21, 2026.

Turok: Origins Evolves Onto The Nintendo Switch 2 this year

Turok: Origins, the previously announced PvE game set in the Turok universe, got a showcase of its gameplay during the Partner Direct. The game is an action shooter with players able to switch between first and third person perspectives to fight dinosaurs and monsters, as well as explore the world. Turok: Origins is set to release on the Nintendo Switch 2 in Fall 2026.

Kyoto Xanadu, the sequel to the 2015 Tokyo Xanadu, arrives this year

A direct sequel to the 2015 Nihon Falcom game Tokyo Xanadu was announced, entitled Kyoto Xanadu. Set in an alternate reality where Kyoto remained the capital of Japan, players take on the role of Rei, who recently joined the Hirasaka Academy, a school for gifted students. While here, players will balance their school life with exploring a 2D dungeon known as Xanadu and fighting monsters in real-time RPG combat. Kyoto Xanadu is set to release for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in the summer of 2026.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger digivolves onto the Switch later this year

The most recent release in the Digimon Story subseries was announced for the Nintendo Switch. After an apocalyptic event destroys the world, the player is set back 8 years to try and stop it, aided along the way by over 400 possible Digimon to do battle with. This quest will take players across both the real world and the digital world in hopes of stopping the destruction to come. On the Nintendo Switch 2, players will also have the choice between several performance modes. Digimon Story: Time Stranger will release on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on July 10, 2026.
