Prison Boss Prohibition just launched a new DLC called Grind & Shine. It includes a slew of new tools, items to craft, and a new environment.
The sequel to hit VR game Prison Boss, Prison Boss Prohibition, is expanding its crime aspirations with a comprehensive new DLC called Grind & Shine. Featuring a different settlement away from New Yolk City in the rail town of Scrambleton, more tools ensure chaos is guaranteed alone or with friends. A pun-filled crime simulation VR game where you grow your black market empire, this chicken and egg round-based adventure has players frantically hiding any contraband from their store whenever the New Yolk Police Department passes by.
The new Grind and Shine DLC not only adds new tools such as an anvil, grindstone, and forge oven to craft more contraband, but also introduces “The Eggsploiters,” a group of ruthless businessmen who rule this rail town. Creating gold bars, gemstones, rings, bracelets, watches, and so much more allows for a true hands-on, gesture-filled experience in VR. Fully playable with up to 4 players in online co-op, Prison Boss Prohibition’s progression system increases players’ reputation and money in exchange for upgrades, enhancements, and cosmetics.

More content updates are planned in the future, including a Custom Game and a Sandbox Mode. All of this, including the Grind & Shine DLC, is part of a Season Pass added last December, with cosmetic packs also being a part of the full package. A slew of updates have introduced new comfort options for joystick locomotion with movement and rotation speeds to adapt to any kind of playstyle. Other welcome changes since release entail throwing cash bribes at cops and new character models for cops.
Prison Boss Prohibition and its Grind & Shine DLC are out now on Meta Quest and Steam.
