JDM: Japanese Drift Master, the indie racing game that was released earlier this year on PC, is finally heading to consoles, with a release date of November 21 for the Xbox Series X and S. Preorders are set to start on November 14, and players who choose to preorder the game will receive a unique car, the Akina Phantom.
Best yet, the title will release with all content updates, improvements, and patches that have been released for the game since its release on PC. This will include additional cars such as the Nissan GTR R35 EBA and the Honda NSX NA1, as well as the side missions and campaigns added post-launch. The title also has both arcade settings, as well as sim racing settings, to help players get the most out of the experience.
Paid DLC, like the Made in USA pack, will also be made available alongside the base game and will bring six unique cars to the experience. It will cost $5.99. The base game will be sold at $34.99 but will feature a 10% discount in celebration of the launch that will run from November 14 when pre-orders start, through to December 4. A special bundle featuring the base game and DLC will be sold for $36.49. A physical version will be available for the game as well.
For my review of JDM: Japanese Drift Master earlier this year I pointed out that the games beautiful world and soundtrack helped bring it to like, even if it had some pacing issues to contend with. If you would like to read that review, you can do so, here. The title is also planned to release in Q1 for PlayStation 5, with that version also set to get a physical edition.
