PlayStation Plus Monthly Games For April Confirmed by Sony

Sony has announced the three titles that will be available as part of the PlayStation Plus Monthly lineup for April. This follows several leaks earlier this month, which are now confirmed accurate, though they didn’t reveal every offering available this month.

Three titles will make up the lineup for this upcoming month, with each of them being available to claim starting on Tuesday, April 7, until Monday, May 4. The two titles that had previously been leaked include the Soulslike game Lords of the Fallen and JRPG Sword Arts Online: Fractured Daydream, with the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered rounding out the offerings.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered itself is a bit of an interesting inclusion, given that the game offers the first three titles in the original PlayStation series. All of the titles are remastered with more polished graphics by Aspyr, who are best known for their ports of classic Star Wars titles. The remaster recently came under fire from fans after releasing a set of new cosmetics that were criticized for looking like ‘AI Slop’.

Lords of the Fallen is a soulslike title released in 2023, serving as a reboot of the 2014 game of the same name. The game received mixed reviews upon release, similar to the original game, and offered a twist of the genre in which players swap between two worlds that overlap with each other to solve puzzles and fight enemies.

The final title, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, is a Namco Bandai-developed RPG based on the long-running Sword Art Online anime series released in 2024, and the 10th overall entry. It distinguishes itself from other titles in the series by focusing on 20-player co-op action as players take part in large-scale raid boss battles, with the ability to choose between multiple characters from the entire run of the series. The next entry in the series, Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad, was also recently announced and is set to release in July.

The PlayStation Plus Monthly games for March will be available until April 6 for players to add to their collection. They included PGA Tour 2k25, Monster Hunter Rise, Slimb Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road.
