Revealed earlier last year, 1348 Ex Voto has confirmed its release date for March 12 in a riveting story trailer.
Italian developer Sedleo and publisher Dear Villagers have confirmed 1348 Ex Voto, a gritty medieval narrative, will release on March 12, 2026. Telling the story of Aeta, a young knight frantically searching for her close confidante Bianca, surviving through medieval Italy by the skin of her teeth. Featuring gorgeously recreated historical landscapes, a gripping story, and impactful combat, there is much to look forward to in a couple of months.
Counting on the talent of thespian Alby Baldwin and famed voice actor Jennifer English, their relationship seems integral to the tumultuous era explored in 1348 Ex Voto. The third-person action adventure will visit both authentically recreated ancient Rome and the grassy countryside. Its sword fighting and combat system, inspired by historical European martial arts, aims to deliver impactful and cinematic encounters.
The developers went further with their aspirations: “Everything in our story is personal: it’s about moralities, ambitions, and choices. Who we aspire to be and who we are allowed to become. Whether our means to fight for it or against it justify our end. We hope those themes will resonate with 1348 Ex Voto players.”

Video game distributor Meridiem also announced two physical versions of the game for PlayStation 5: the Limited and Golden editions. The limited edition will include a passionate letter written by Aeta. The Golden Edition will have a golden box, an Ex Voto patch, an art book, and several more bells and whistles.
Previously confirmed for Xbox, the studio has confirmed that it has cancelled its port to consolidate its efforts on the current platforms it will release on. 1348 Ex Voto was also mentioned in our 26 Unique Video Games To Look Out For In 2026 article.
