In anticipation of the second season of Amazon’s Prime Fallout series in late December, Bethesda announced a slew of updates regarding the various projects of the franchise. To start things off, a 15th anniversary bundle of Fallout: New Vegas, complete with a huge robot statue and a Vault Boy pin, available on their flagship Bethesda Gear Store. This one makes the most sense as the second series has been confirmed to develop in the city of New Vegas, with producers reassuring eagle-eyed viewers will be rewarded with plenty of easter eggs.
Fallout 4, a beloved game now in its 10th year, will have once again a new edition for players to collect with the Anniversary Edition. This includes all the DLC released for the game so far: Far Harbor, Automatron, Nuka-World, and the workshops for base building. It will also add hundreds of new items from the Creation Club that promises to expand the experience even further. As an unexpected announcement, it will also arrive to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, with no specific date as yet.

Fallout Shelter, the surprising mobile gift that keeps on giving, also promised new updates for fans to look out for. Finally, what seems to be Bethesda’s main focus for now, Fallout 76 has ambitious expansions planned. In December, Burning Springs will be a new area available for players. Touted as their largest map yet, the inclusion of The Ghoul, played by the one and only Walton Goggins, seems to be the cherry on top of this new addition.
Todd Howard closed the Fallout Day stream by briefly teasing that there’s more to come, and that they will show it in due time. For now, we can also expect PS5 and Xbox Series S|X versions of Fallout 76 so satiate our hunger for more post-apocalyptic mayhem in 2026.
