*This guide contains light spoilers for inKONBINI One Store. Many Stories.
inKonbini doesn’t do much to explain the actual expectations of each shift that you will need to deal with. While it is easy to pick up as you progress slowly, there are a few elements that are easy to miss off the bat if you don’t pay close enough attention. One of these is the bulletin board in the back that kind of needs you to move into the nook between the phone and desk, where employees leave stick notes left for later shifts.
On your first shift, there is a note from Hina letting you know she lost her ring. You do not need to check this to complete the task, but it’s good to know to look here, especially on later shifts, as you can easily miss things to fill the time between customers. Obviously, as the note states, she has lost her ring and needs somebody to find it. It sounds easy enough, but you are given very little information to guide you, and the store is literally filled to the brim with objects you can interact with.
The ring is out in the main air of the store, but, funny enough, the ring itself is in a place I didn’t realize existed until day four. The two locations that you might obviously think to look are the reading area, which has a table and counter space, but it is not. The other, which is correct, is the front counter. It isn’t behind the counter, under the counter, and built into it on the customer side, is a sink. It’s actually pretty easy to miss if you aren’t looking, as it’s low on the screen. The Golden Ring is sitting next to the sink. Interact with the sink to go into a zoomed-in screen where yoy can grab it.

Upon grabbing the ring, the trophy/Achievement Lost Ring will pop, so there is no second step of putting it somewhere for safekeeping. Upon completion, Makoto will grab the ring from there and mark it down in her journal that she found it. If you don’t find the ring, the next day, a sticky note will say another employee found it there, noting where you can find it on your next playthrough.
