I want to start by prefacing that it has been years since I actually sat down to play a Call of Duty title. I did play Black Ops 6 last year through Game Pass, but when I say I have less than an hour overall in that game, I mean it. No, there was a time, in my youth, when I was playing to go pro, when Black Ops 2 was the most recently released game in the series. I got pretty close to it until my team tried to kill each other, but that’s a different story. The point…
Only a few weeks after Silent Hill 2 Remake received a listing on the ESRB Website, having been rated for the Xbox Series S/X consoles, Konami and Bloober Team have officially released the title on the platforms in a stealth release with no warning, at least in some regions. In addition to that, the title currently features a 50% discount for its launch. Fans have spotted that the game is specifically available in Australia, which is a day ahead of the US, making the release date Friday, November 21. While there is no official word for the game yet in…
Ghost of Yotei will receive a new game plus mode, something that fans have been waiting for, which is set to arrive for the game on November 24, alongside a free patch, Sony has announced. Features that will be coming alongside this include a harder difficulty, new armor sets, and weapon dyes, the ability to replay completed missions, as well as new accessibility options. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY8MXfksWuw This news was announced via a PlayStation Blog post by Senior Communications Manager for Sucker Punch Productions, Andrew Goldfarb. This will allow Protagonist Atsu to punish enemies in the game, which, as he states: Yes,…
Only a month after Tales of Xilla Remastered was released, Namco Bandai has announced the next in their growing number of older games in the series to get that same treatment, this time PlayStation 4 title Tales of Berseria Remastered. The remaster is scheduled to release on February 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC, and for the first time, on the Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrgChQAkLCA Interestingly enough, while Tales of Beseria was well-received and self-contained, it is part of a two-game arc with the previously released title in the series, Tales of Zestiria, serving as a…
I started playing Demonschool back in August. Usually, you do not get codes for games, even indie games, THAT early on, but of course, the game was delayed when it was announced Silksong, a juggernaut of a title that was announced to be finally releasing around the same time. The sentiment was understandable, getting as far away from that window as possible since a game one of those games was undoubtedly about to be a mega hit, and the other was a new game just vying for exposure, but it is still hard not to feel bad for a potential…

The list of games coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in November has been confirmed by Sony, and it includes the return of Grand Theft Auto V to the service. This was rumored to be happening and comes only a week after Rockstar yet again delayed Grand Theft Auto VI, now set to release on November 19, 2026, after being originally planned for May. Grand Theft Auto V is also currently on Xbox Game Pass. Another game being added this month is Pacific Drive, from Ironwood Studios, a driving survival game with some roguelike elements. Still Wakes the Deep,…
In the endless sea of JRPG titles, the Atelier series is one that often goes underappreciated, which, in my opinion, is a shame. I am sure that upon first glance at any title in the series, the fanservice, which has always been a lot of it, can either suck a player in or send them packing. Atelier Ryza is arguably more so, given that producer Junzo Hosoi even addressed certain dummy thicc design choices as owing to the lost decades following the Japanese economic bubble bursting, circa 1990. I feel like I needed to be there to get it. What…
