Following Frontier Developments’ changing of the game’s YouTube profile yesterday, the developer has now confirmed that Planet Zoo 2, the follow-up to their zoo management sim of the same name, is coming this year. More specifically, the title is slated to release on October 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, nearly seven years after the original game welcomed players young and old. Announcing Planet Zoo 2, Frontier stated that the sequel was a “generational leap forward in animation and animal behaviour,” and would feature improved visuals. The title was also stated to feature a much wider focus on…

For fans of Frontier Developments’ Zoo management simulator Planet Zoo (like myself), it looks like the sequel, or at least its announcement, isn’t far off. This comes from some clues dropped on the title’s YouTube page that, let’s say, lack a lot of subtlety or nuance. Thanks to the publication Eurogamer for spotting this, but if you head to the Main YouTube page for the game, you might notice that the main banner and profile picture have both been updated, adding Planet Zoo 2 in both. Since both the banner and profile picture remain in place, this doesn’t look like…

There was a point I wasn’t sure if Mina the Hollower could or would hook me. I was trapped in a vicious loop, trying to save a character trapped in a house. This was a tall order of a quest, given that Mina had only 10 minutes prior had her ship attacked and was thrown into a bleak battle for survival as the Tenebrous Isle seemingly burned down around her. At this point, I had a choice of three weapons (I picked the whip, of course), then was sent on my way to figure it all out or die in…

After several months of rumors and speculation, CD Projekt has announced that a third expansion for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is in development. Entitled Songs of the Past, the DLC is due out next year (not this year, as previously rumored), 12 years and over 60 million sales since The Witcher III was first released in 2015. This will mark 11 years since the last DLC for the title, Blood and Wine, was released in May of 2016. In a Press announcement released earlier today, CD Projekt additionally confirms that they are co-developing the upcoming expansion with Foll’s Theory,…

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a bizarre hodgepodge of Batman history. Right off the bat (pun intended), we join Bruce Wayne at the start of it all, as a child, the night his parents die. LEGO does a good job of making this moment far less dark than we all remember it being. This is all set up, though, to segue Bruce to travel away, seeking Master Ra’s al Ghul for training. This, of course, is the opening to the Christopher Nolan films, which I was expecting, with the title implying this to some degree, was going…

Paradox Interactive, the publisher behind the popular Cities: Skylines series, appears to be working on a LEGO-branded spin-off. This comes to us from the typically reliable Korean Ratings Board, which lists the game ahead of any formal announcement. This was first noticed by the site Gematsu, though Paradox has yet to make any comment on the topic. According to the ratings board, the game will be entitled LEGO Skylines. At present, there are no real details for the project, though a LEGO city builder does feel like a no-brainer. This said, the most recent Cities: Skylines 2 had a rocky…
