Silent Hill f, the latest installment in the long-running Japanese horror series, has sold over 1 million copies across both physical and digital sales on the official release date of the game. The publisher behind the series, Konami, confirmed this news via a press statement, as well as on the franchise’s Japanese Twitter account page, thanking “everyone who played” for exceeding the million copies shipped mark just a day after its September 25th release. Opening the PlayStation State of Play Direct today, HouseMarque showcased the first gameplay look for their upcoming Spiritual successor to the PlayStation 5 game Returnal, entitled Saros. Ubisoft and developer Massive Entertainment have announced a new DLC story expansion for their 2023 first-person shooter title Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, set in the universe of the James Cameron film series. Entitled From the Ashes, the DLC will be released on December 19, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft+.
