Developer Nekki showcased another trailer for their upcoming action game, Spine, during the Future Games show Today. Announced back in 2021, the title is a gun-fu action beat-em-up that should resonate with fans of the film franchise John Wick or the kung fu fighting title Sifu. While players have been waiting a lengthy time for this one, we did not get an official release date, but the developer did give us a much more concise time period for when we can expect to start kicking kneecaps and blasting faces. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75X8g0sKqgA Spine puts players in the role of Redline, a street…

Heading up this…
Kicking off Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2026, HoYoverse showcased a first look at its newest game, Nodus Fall. The game stands as a pretty big departure from the previous anime-oriented and playful games developed by HoYoverse, such as Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero, with the trailer giving off vibes that might have been better associated with something from FromSoftware before the reveal of the developer behind it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I59kIiEDOMM Nodus Fall is a dark fantasy title being developed on Unreal Engine 5, a departure from the studio’s use of Unity Engine. The game will blend elements from soulslike titles…

I remember when GoldenEye 007 was released on Nintendo 64. I mean, I say that, but I was like seven at the time, so I remember bits and pieces of it. That was a magical age where you secretly hated everybody around you, but since all the people who lived nearby had one game everybody wanted to play, you all hung out in each other’s bedrooms. This usually meant passing controllers and getting temperamental because you were seven. You didn’t know any better. It’s weird to think we might need a nostalgia vehicle for GoldenEye 007; it’s fairly accessible now,…
