Published by Team17 and developed by Wonderscope Games, Hokko Spaces is coming this October 29. Sharing the same colorful aesthetic of Animal Crossing-inspired Hokko Life, this new adventure does away with daily chores for maximum comfort. Players will be given the tools to adorn beautiful dioramas in small spaces to then invite cute critters to hang out in. From yoga classes to brunch settings, this design-first approach lends players the space to create to their heart’s content without the stress of having to deal with timers or quests.
Hokko Spaces features a broad set of options for players to build their perfect scenes, with over 300 decorative items available, including campfires, benches, picnic baskets, a wide variety of flowers, and picket fences. The game also has five different block types, including stone cobbles, grass, and sand, to build the idyllic garden of your dreams. Further customization is available through the choice of the four seasons, each with two different weather options. Plenty of fur babies are available to visit, which are unlocked via meeting relaxing goals like destroying 20 weeds in the diorama.
For those who want more than what is offered in the base game, Lei’s Beachside Pack DLC will also be available. It offers players an extra ray of sunshine to Hokko Spaces with Lei, a cheerful new villager ready to bring laid-back beach vibes to your neighborhood. Float the day away with a new selection of rubber rings, keep watch with the lifeguard’s chair or turn up the tunes with the boombox and get the party started.
To wrap up, a comprehensive and easy-to-boot Photo Mode allows your friendly residents to pose while you play with the frame, filter, and a myriad of other options in your quest to take the perfect cozy photo.
