Announced during the Galaxies Showcase, developer ZA/UM has announced that ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 3, 2026. This is the same date that the title had previously been announced to be released on PlayStation 5, having previously released on PC earlier this year, with the Director’s Cut version also available now on that platform and as a free upgrade to players who had already purchased the title.
This announcement comes as part of a console highlight trailer showcasing several features coming to the platform. This includes Joy-Con mouse controls to play the game similar to its point-and-click nature on PC, and touch controls for the Nintendo Switch 2 screen, HD Rumble, and 4K display options for docked play. On the PlayStation 5, players will be able to take advantage of the adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and the built-in controller speaker.
This is on top of all the Director’s Cut content that is being added to the game for console as well as PC. This includes over 40,000 words of additional dialogue and revised voice-overs. A backstage mode is also being added to the title, allowing players to explore earlier iterations of select environments, discover cut content, as well as hear stories from across the development team.
We awarded ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies an 8/10 when it released in its original version earlier this year. Reviewer Andresplays stated in his review, “Protagonist Hershel Wilk knows she is not up to the task, yet a sense of remorse pushes her forward. What she finds is a web of deceit that alone warrants the price of entry. This is no Disco Elysium, but a thrilling beast of its own.”
