Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have announced that Attack on Titan 3, the third entry in their series based on the popular Anime, is set to release on December 10th, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC via Steam. The game was announced earlier this summer during the Summer Games Fest, with a livestream for the game held on July 1st and a tentative timeframe of Winter this year.
While the third entry in the series, Attack on Titan 3, will follow the events of the anime and manga series from the start point all the way to the end. The previous entry concluded at the end of the anime’s second series, featuring the third season as part of the Final Battle, which ended on the Return to Shiganshina arc. This leaves plenty of narrative on the table for the game, being the first in the video game franchise to premiere after Attack on Titan concluded in 2023.
The standard version of the game will be available both physically and digitally for $69.99, including the base version of the game. A steelbook edition of the game is also available for pre-order for all platforms. A digital deluxe edition of the game will also be available for $89.99 and will include a digital artbook, a character customization pack, an original equipment pack, a start items pack, and 72-hour early access.
All players who have save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will also receive in-game bonuses for the game (The save data must be on the same console). More details on what these bonuses will be are set to be revealed at a later date.
