Two of the more popular entries in the Call of Duty series, Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2, now have ports available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. These titles have been released digitally across both platforms; however, they will come with a pretty pricey tag, given that these games are 16 years old and 14 years old, respectively.

These games are not being sold as a bundle, meaning they have to be purchased individually at $40 for each game. This is the base game, too, with both titles having their season pass content also sold separately, with each carrying a price tag of $30 individually as well. This means that, if you wanted to purchase full access to one of the titles, you are looking at $70 all in, with $140 being the price tag if you want to buy both.

Thankfully, if you are a PlayStation Plus member, there is a tiny saving grace between launch and August 6th. Both titles are on pretty signifigant discount until that date, with Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 both being 50% off, costing $20. Both season passes are on an even steeper discount, costing $9.98, which is a discount of 67% percent. Black Ops 2 will also have a free pack available for it that offers access to cosmetic packs that were available for purchase alongside the original game.

There are no new features with either port of the entries, and neither will feature any form of cross-play. These games do not use the servers for the original games, which have become a playground for hackers and cheaters, so this might be in everybody’s best interest. There is also some content missing from these games, with wager matches and theater mode having been removed. This is something players have suspected with the leak of the trophy list earlier this week.

Beyond all this, the games will remain mostly what players remember them to be. Players will have complete access to campaigns, multiplayer, and zombies. The classic emblem editor will also make a return, which is great.
