Dubbed Code of Creation, the final major update for the Guild Wars 2 expansion Visions of Eternity comes next Tuesday, September 15.
The latest expansion for Guild Wars 2 called Visions of Eternity is coming to an explosive finale with its last update, Code of Creation. Revealed next to an exciting launch trailer that shows a new explorable map, weapons, and, of course, the conclusion to the narrative, it fits the bill for what’s expected of a final act. Players can get their hands on this riveting content update next Tuesday, September 15.
Code of Creation completes the story that began at the launch of Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity with players investigating the mysterious, magic-infused island of Castora. In Code of Creation, players and allies must stop powerful enemies from making an irreversible decision with consequences for all of Tyria. The story finale brings players to the new explorable zone of Leyspring Hollows.

Within Leyspring Hollows, warriors will train the Rift Amplification Mastery and earn new rewards, including weapon sets. Players can also unlock new relics to augment their build. A new season in the Wizard’s Vault brings fresh objectives to complete. These include a new chair, armor, and weapon skins to obtain. Those seeking legendary rewards can earn the mysterious Wages of Stars legendary sword and a novel Volatile Ascension infusion. Code of Creation also brings a 10-player raid encounter called Nexus of Eternity with challenge and legendary modes to be released in the weeks after launch.
As we previously reported, ArenaNet confirmed Guild Wars 2 will continue to be supported after this expansion, so fans need not fret about future content updates. Visions of Eternity is available on Steam and through the official Guild Wars 2 site for $24.99. Owners of the expansion will immediately receive access to everything that’s on offer, including next week’s release on Tuesday, September 15.
