After some months of speculation, Sony has finally announced a release date for the FlexStrike, their first-party fight stick for fans of fighting games. As it turns out, the date we can finally get our hands on one has been the one most players expected, August 6, 2026, coinciding with the release of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, which was announced alongside the FlexStrike. This news was announced via a PlayStation Blog post.

The FlexStrike is a wireless fightstick, though it supports USB-C cables for both charging and wired play. It will be compatible with both the PlayStation 5 and PC, and is designed with “both competitive play and portability” at the forefront, with a carrying sling included for easy travel. The Flexstrike will cost $199.99 | €199.99 | £179.99 | ¥34,980 JPY (including tax) and will be available for preorder starting on June 12, at 10 AM Eastern in the US, 10 AM local time in Europe, through direct.playstation.com as well as participating retailers.

In addition to this, several other Sony products were outlined in this blog post, mainly the previously announced 27″ Gaming Monitor with Dualsense Charging Hook, which was announced to launch on August 27. As stated in the blog post, “It features a 27-inch QHD IPS display (2560×1440) with VRR, supporting up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240Hz on a compatible PC or Mac”. Preorders will begin for the monitor on June 5 at 10 AM Eastern in the US, similarly through direct.playstation.com and Best Buy in the US, as well as participating retailers in Japan. It will cost $349.99 | ¥49,980 (including tax).

The only product we did not get an official release date for is the Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers, which work with any gaming monitor but were highlighted as complementing the 27″ Gaming Monitor. These speakers take the same elements from the Pulse Explore and Pulse Elite headsets, creating a rich experience beyond the living room for players.” It was stated that more information will be available soon, including retail price, but that they are coming this year.
