Developer ION LAND, the team behind the upcoming cyberpunk slice-of-life sim and my most anticipated game of the year, Nivalis Nights, has announced that the title has crossed 1 million wishlists on Steam. This news comes only a short time ahead of the game’s planned release date, September 29th, which the studio announced earlier this year after a string of delays pushed the game back. In celebration, ION LAND has released a new asset via social media
In a press release from ION LANDS, Creative Director Marko Dieckmann started:
Hitting one million wishlists is a milestone we never expected to see. We launched Cloudpunk with about 130,000 wishlists, which already felt like a massive achievement for us back then. We are incredibly grateful for your patience and support, and we don’t take a single one of you for granted. Thank you for believing in our team.
Nivalis Nights carries on from the studio’s previous title Cloudpunk, both sharing the same setting, the fictitious neon-lit city of Nivalis. This time around, the players will inherit a noodle bar, with growing and managing it at the forefront of the experience. Players will work towards building a life for themselves in the techno metropolis, completing a variety of tasks around town such as sourcing ingredients and meeting new people, all to build their humble noodle stand into a nightlife empire.

- Experience your life in a vibrant cyberpunk city on the sea, spending your days however you choose.
- Explore your new home on foot or with your own boat, and leave no channel, easy-to-miss alleyway, or lively city square unturned.
- Establish a name for yourself by running your own business, from noodle stands and hole-in-the-wall bars to the cities hottest restaurants and nightclubs, starting small and growing your enterprise from the ground up.
- Source your ingredients from marketplaces or by growing or fishing for your own.
- Decorate and make your home your own, or buy and customize the residence of your neon-futuristic dreams.
- Meet the people of Nivalis and hear their stories. Find new customers, friends, and maybe even love.
Nivalis Nights, again, will be available on September 29, 2026. It will be released on PC via Steam, with an Epic Games Store version planned, as information about that version will be released in the coming weeks.
