Paradox Interactive Developing LEGO Style Cities: Skylines Spinoff According To Rating Board Leak

Paradox Interactive, the publisher behind the popular Cities: Skylines series, appears to be working on a LEGO-branded spin-off. This comes to us from the typically reliable Korean Ratings Board, which lists the game ahead of any formal announcement. This was first noticed by the site Gematsu, though Paradox has yet to make any comment on the topic. According to the ratings board, the game will be entitled LEGO Skylines.

At present, there are no real details for the project, though a LEGO city builder does feel like a no-brainer. This said, the most recent Cities: Skylines 2 had a rocky release on PC. The title changed developers from Colossal Order, which also did the first game, to Iceflake Studios last year. A PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series version of the builder was also planned, though due to the many issues that plagued its PC launch, there were delayed indefinitely and is still listed as TBD.

With Paradox also being the only name listed, it is unclear who the developer is at this time. Officially, Colossal Order stated the split between both companies was a mutual and amicable decision to ensure the best possible future for Cities: Skylines 2. They have not announced any future projects, so maybe they might work on something like this, though it seems unlikely. Iceflake Studios seems to have its hands full, given that the title still hasn’t reached a point of fully fixed. With Paradox listed as the publisher on this LEGO game, it would make sense to bring in some of their expertise from the developers familiar with the genre, though we will need to wait to see.

Summer Games Fest is right around the corner, starting on June 5, 2026, and event that Paradox has taken part in before. The publisher has equally had games showcases in the summer in previous years, though they have yet to announce anything. Several weeks ago, Paradox announced that it planned to announce multiple games this year, with around 8 games in its upcoming pipeline.
