Cyberpunk bartending life sim Nivalis Nights has recieved a release date for its PC release from developer ION LANDS. Formerly known as Nivalis, the title is a spin-off of the developer’s previous title, Cloudpunk, which the studio released back in 2020. Nivalis was first announced in May of 2021, targeting a 2024 release date before several delays. It was scheduled for 2026 until last year, when it finally received a release date of September 29th for PC via Steam. It will release on the Epic Game Store at a later date.
Nivalis Nights is set in the same universe as Cloudpunk, which introduced us to the city of Nivalis, but will have a different focus than the previous title. Instead of driving around the city in your floating car, completing deliveries, players will take on the ownership of a Noodle Bar with an expanded world to explore. The newest trailer also gives us a look at the multiple seasons to experience the city in, as well as management options and customization available to players as they take their small business and build it into something to be proud of.
Marko Dieckmann, the Creative Director at ION LANDS, stated:
As an independent studio, developing this game meant overcoming hurdles we’ve never faced before, and we are incredibly grateful to our community for their patience over the last five years. Today, we are thrilled to finally lock in our official release date and cannot wait for players to dive in, meet Ava, and experience the city’s quirky charm.
