Star Wars Zero Company is releasing August 27, and its cast reveal at San Diego Comic-Con shows they are ready to mobilize.
At the San Diego Comic-Con last Saturday, Lucasfilm and developer Bit Reactor unveiled the full cast of Star Wars Zero Company in an exclusive panel. This eagerly anticipated tactical strategy adventure showed deeper ties into the legendary universe by George Lucas. Authentically set during the Clone Wars, players will take control of the covert ops team Zero Company. Led by the highly customizable Hawks, this group of outcasts will dare to fight against an evil spreading across the galaxy.
Bit Reactor narrative director Aaron Contreras weighed in on the implications that players will have to take part in. “You play as Hawks, a disgraced former Republic officer who’s left the Republic and now formed Zero Company, an independent outfit that specializes in covert investigations and tactical operations. Hawks and his team are hired to go against the Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned paramilitary cult that’s intent on spreading a deadly shadow plague across the galaxy.”

Vic Michaelis, known for her roles in Dropout comedy shows, will take on the role of Runa Blask. Appearing on stage at the panel, she explained her character’s motivations more in-depth. “My favorite types of characters to play are people who are one way but think they’re another way. And a lot of their unhappiness comes from the space in between those two things. That’s true in Runa, also. She’s a Separatist who ends up working at Zero Company purely out of necessity… and maybe doesn’t agree with that in many ways, but she really wants to defeat the Infinite Coil.”
