Blumehouse Games and Perfect Garbage announced yesterday that the upcoming horror farming sim, Grave Seasons, will no longer be released this year and is now slated for release on March 9, 2027. Previously, the title was planned for release on August 14, 2026, and was expected to get another release date sometime in the Fall of 2026 before this announcement was made. It has been stated that the delays were in part to allow the team more time to polish the game, but also to tackle the task of porting the title to the multiple platforms it will release on.
Alongside this announcement, a new trailer for the game Grave Seasons was released, showcasing some fresh gameplay. This includes clips of the player petting some chickens and flirting with the townsfolk; of course, we get some farming in there… And MURDER!? As the trailer promises, you will reap what you sow when it releases early next year.
Here is an official overview for the title:
Grave Seasons is a charming, narrative-driven pixelated farming sim game where, amidst clever relationship building and crop harvesting, a supernatural serial killer starts to pick off the townsfolk. With dark secrets to uncover and gruesome killings to investigate, players must unravel the mystery unfolding in Ashenridge… before more lives are lost.
Naturally, the original plans for the release of Grave Seasons would have had the title drop sometime near October, which clearly fits the vibes that the trailer is laying down. That said, the game looks like it will be well worth it in any season. Right now, it is sitting on 750,000 wishlists on Steam and climbing, if you want to be one of the many adding your name to the list.
Grave Seasons is, once again, set to start its murder spree on March 9, 2027. It will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and Pc via Steam. It will also be available day one as part of Xbox Game Pass.
