Publisher KOEI TECMO has revealed its lineup for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, along with what it will showcase during its KOEI TECMO Live! livestream broadcast. The Tokyo Game Show is set to be held between September 17 and September 21 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, having expanded to a five-day event to celebrate its 30th anniversary. During this time, KOEI TECMO plans to showcase multiple games, chief among them being Team Ninja’s Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember and Omega Force’s Attack on Titan 3.
During the company’s livestream event, voice actors Yu Kobayashi and Shiori Mikami, who portray Sasha and Krista, respectively, will make an appearance to discuss Attack on Titan 3, which is slated to release on December 10th. Fans can expect to get additional information on the game, which covers the entirety of the Attack on Titan story, in the buildup to its release. This broadcast will be available to watch on YouTube live on September 20th at 3:40 pm JST (11:40 pm PDT on Sept. 19, 3:40 AM EST Sept. 20).
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will also be showcased during a dedicated special stage, hosted by commentator Otsuichi while will offer some insights into the title, along with strategies for the soulslike title. Currently, Wo Long 2 does not have a release date, with the game simply being listed for early 2027. Similarly, Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered will also receive a showcase on a dedicated special stage as well.
Finally, fans of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, which Dynasty Warriors started as a spinoff of, will get its own broadcast to celebrate the series 40th anniversary. Kou Shibusawa, the legend himself, will host the event, discussing the series’ evolution before turning the conversation to an unannounced project. At the KOEI TECMO booth, the company will have five demos available to play, including Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, Attack on Titan 3, and Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, the next entry in the Atelier series.
Additional announcements will be made during The KOEI TECMO LIVE! at the TGS2026 livestream, which will be broadcast from 8:00 pm JST on Sept. 18 (4 am PDT Sept 18, 7 am EST Sept 18). Haruka Mori and the comedic duo Nasunakanishi will host the event. The announcements remain to be seen, but titles like Atelier Karia might be among them, given that no dedicated stage was announced for it, so we can see more of it during the event.
