NTE: Neverness to Everness just wrapped up its first livestream of future content. Introducing a heap of new content, it also addressed fan feedback from its debut in late April.
As is the nature of live service games, urban open-world anime NTE plans to release an update every five weeks. Dubbed “Dreamwalk Corridor,” this first major expansion brings a slew of content, from fresh characters to gorgeous new areas to explore. In a surprising turn of events, it is also implementing fan feedback in what is a quick turnaround in game development. Earning high praise on our initial review, its snappy combat, fun activities, fair monetization, and engaging city made it a worthy entry in the gacha game landscape. Players seemed to agree, with publisher Perfect World Games announcing $14M in revenue earned within a day of its launch.
The first new area is an appropriate arrival for Summertime: Sunward Island. This idyllic haven serves as much contrast to the hustle and bustle of the main metropolis, Hethereau. The second area, Corridor of Echoes, gives off a more mysterious dreamscape vibe. It will be sure to work as a location to combat strange anomalies.
Two characters, previously introduced during the main quest, will arrive to the banner system. Lacrimosa is a sleepy but powerful member of the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Chaos is an ex-convict who joined the BAC to reduce his prison sentence. Both have various outfits to collect and can spend time with protagonist Esper Zero in city hangouts.
There’s More To Come

Initially teasing the collaboration during the game’s debut, luxury German carmaker Porsche is finally arriving to NTE. The Porsche 918 Spyder is making its way to the streets of Hethereau, along with brand outfits for the main character. These will be obtainable through pulls via a limited-time event, giving the option to spend either in-game currency or real-life money.
Two new wild game modes are making things more interesting: Fight Club and Underground Circuit. In the first one, much like the acclaimed David Fincher film with the same title, it will have players fighting with a gang when sent to jail. The second, akin to the movie Death Race, features cars with weapons engaging in combat.
Last but not least, certain quality-of-life features caught the eye of players during its reveal. Taygedo is a chipper otter that may come off as too excitable for some, and now he can be completely silenced in version 1.1. More intuitive fast travel points, driving tweaks, bug fixes, and refinements to the combat are among the changes expected as well. NTE can now be wishlisted on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Samsung Galaxy Store. While it was available on PC, it was on a proprietary launcher, which will now open up possibilities for players to use the platform of their choosing. GeForce NOW support is coming.
NTE is available now on PlayStation 5, mobile for iOS & Android, and PC for Windows and Apple Mac via an official launcher.
